One family

Meet Jeffah: So on one of the first days of being in Jeremie I met him, he was so cute and fun and loved me and it was just awesome seeing this child in his situation and he just has pure joy. He is younger and way smaller than all of the big kids so they don't really let him play, but he doesn't listen. When we were playing soccer, one day basically he was like a human cannonball, wherever the group of kids were with the ball he would run full speed and just start kicking (most of the time not hitting the ball haha). One day we were walking to the soccer field and his dad said something to him. So now every time we cross the street together or pretty much go anywhere he holds my hands. I love this child!!!

So, just down the street from our house is a hospital and about 1-4 times a week some of us go and visit. We mostly go to the baby section and love on these kids, some of whom are abandoned.

The first time we went to the hospital to visit the babies I am not going to lie I wasn't very excited. Not because I don't like kids but i don't like SICK kids. Also, what i was told was that basically all these kids needed from us was to be held and loved. The way that I love kids is not through holding and hugging, its through joking making them laugh. So, the first two kids i walked up to started crying i knew this was gonna be rough.

BUT THEN.....

MEET SAMANTHA: She is the cutest !!!!!

Then, I walked up to her crib and she loved me and the feeling was mutual. She was full of joy and just the cutest thing. So, within about 15 mins i had her laughing and then it became a Haitian dance party, Yes ladies and gentleman we were dancing!!!!

This is the part that hurts. She is in the hospital because she is sick. Please pray for her because she has some sort of chest congestion.

She loves playing and dancing.

This picture is so precious to me and just really moves my heart. She is sooooo small and cute.

One of the best parts of the story is that the boy that God connected my heart to, Jeffah the boy at the top of the page. JEFFAH and SAMANTHA ARE BROTHER AND SISTER AND I HAD NO IDEA!!!! GOD IS GOOOOOODDD!!!!!

Welcome to Haiti

Hello everybody,

So I am now in Jeremie, Haiti currently settling into the house and getting acclimated to living in this new town. I have been in Haiti for a little over a week now, all I can say is that 6 months is going to be a long time but such amazing experience and such an opportunity to love like Jesus. On our third day in Jeremie we went to one of the water well sites, fixed the pump, and had clean, drinkable water flowing at 12 gallons a minutes it was rad.

Meet Jessica: this is a cute little girl I met while we were working on the well. She was carrying a 2 gallon jug of water on her head, that's 17 pounds, it might not sound like a lot but try it. She couldn't have been any older than 10 years old. But, what impressed me the most was her joy it was probably about 90 degrees and 70 percent humidity and she was carrying that on her head and just had a HUGE smile. She just touched my heart.











A couple of days later we went to visit the countryside where one of our Haitian brothers, Jacob, grew up. It was called Parotie it was so awesome.







So this is the family that I visited it was incredible as soon as we got there we were looking at coconuts in a tree and a couple seconds later one of the men from the village was climbing a coconut tree and he had gotten us about 2 coconuts each and then we all drank the coconut milk and ate the coconut meat it was amazing.




Last time, a group from impact was in Jeremie they blessed this community with roofs and framing for 3 houses but unfortunately the community doesn't have the money to buy the cement needed to do the outside walls so this is what they look like 6 months after we put them up.

It only costs about 300 dollars per house to buy the cement needed to build the walls and 300 more dollars to furnish the house with 2 beds, a table and chairs. So, this is your chance to really change someone's life. We have 3 houses that we want to be able to bless and do these things for if you are interested let me know.


These were just a couple of the kids from this village and it was a blessing that we got to spend the afternoon with such a joy filled group of kids.
















"SUNS OUT, GUNS OUT!!!!"

The little kid in the red sleeveless shirt his name is Dimi. He was such a cute kid as we were walking up the hill, he was holding someone's hand, and with the other hand he was holding up his pants it was so cute. So when we first got to the village he did not like being held so we just walked next to him holding hands.







It did not take too long for me to rub off on him.

Reality setting in!!!

Hey guys,

I know it has been a while since I blogged last, my bad. Well, I just got back from Vermont for the 4th of July. I went there to visit tiffany's (my girlfriend) family. It was so awesome just spending time out there and seeing God so powerfully through just the sheer beauty of nature out there. Take a look here's a few of the pictures.







Have you ever been planning something for a while and it almost seems like its never gonna happen, but then at some point you have a moment where the reality that it is actually happening hits you?
Well that happened to me a couple days ago, it was the day that I got back from Vermont, I had ordered prayer card to give out to people for my trip to Haiti. So when I saw a large box for me I opened it up and my prayer card were in.



I literally had to sit down on the couch because that was the moment where REALITY SET IN!!!
